We are opening a position for an Engineering Intern to join our team at our Saint Laurent Office. The intern will become a vital contributor for the team and will have the opportunity to work on and support multiple projects in engineering, design and sales. The intern will have the opportunity to live the experience of joining a start-up that was officially founded in May 2019.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide design concepts for new features either in existing or new products
• Work on development of engineering samples to ensure customer requirements are met using SolidWorks
• Willing to work with Photometric toolbox and AGI32 for manipulations of IES files and creation of layout for lighting projects
• Participate in sales calls to provide engineering support when required
• Be an active member of team to help support customer service and operations
• Provide update, when required, to various stakeholders
• Be a team member of a start up organization and willing to adapt to organization needs such as addition of new software, implementation of new systems and understanding of new standards
• May be required to travel to visit customers

Skills

• Experience with Solid Works or AutoCAD
• General knowledge of engineering design
• Good interpersonal and communications skills, take initiatives, results driven personality
• Ability to use Microsoft suite tools

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Attending a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate or graduate program
• Finishing a Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent
• Paid Internship, Full time
• A minimum 40 hour weekStage 8 mois

  Nous ouvrons un poste pour un stagiaire en ingénierie pour rejoindre notre équipe à notre bureau de Saint Laurent. Le stagiaire deviendra un contributeur essentiel pour l’équipe et aura l’opportunité de travailler et de soutenir de multiples projets en ingénierie, conception et vente. Le stagiaire aura l’opportunité de vivre l’expérience de rejoindre une start-up officiellement fondée en mai 2019.

  Principales responsabilités

  Fournir des concepts de conception pour de nouvelles fonctionnalités dans les produits existants ou nouveaux
  Travailler sur le développement d’échantillons d’ingénierie pour s’assurer que les exigences des clients sont satisfaites à l’aide de SolidWorks
  Disposé à travailler avec la boîte à outils photométrique et AGI32 pour les manipulations de fichiers IES et la création de mise en page pour les projets d’éclairage
  Participer aux appels de vente pour fournir un soutien technique au besoin
  Être un membre actif de l’équipe pour aider à soutenir le service à la clientèle et les opérations
  Fournir une mise à jour, au besoin, aux divers intervenants
  Être un membre de l’équipe d’une organisation en démarrage et disposé à s’adapter aux besoins de l’organisation tels que l’ajout de nouveaux logiciels, la mise en œuvre de nouveaux systèmes et la compréhension des nouvelles normes
  Peut être amené à se déplacer pour rendre visite aux clients

  Compétences

  Expérience avec Solid Works ou AutoCAD
  Connaissance générale de la conception technique
  Bonnes compétences interpersonnelles et de communication, prendre des initiatives, personnalité axée sur les résultats
  Capacité à utiliser les outils de la suite Microsoft

  Qualifications/Exigences :

  Minimum 3.0 GPA
  Suivre un programme de baccalauréat ou d’études supérieures à temps plein inscrit et accrédité au niveau national
  Avoir obtenu un baccalauréat en génie ou l’équivalent
  Stage rémunéré, Temps plein
  Une semaine minimum de 40 heures.
